The tracks are located at an altitude of 1640 to 3440 meters. The Pitztal glacier is home to the highest cafe in Austria. You can eat and drink something here at an altitude of 3440 meters. Local spa towns like Mayrhofen, Zell am See and Sölden are enduringly popular.

The longest town in terms of mileage, which is located in the southwest of Tyrol, is Soelden. Its main attraction is that the ski slopes here reach more than 3 kilometers. In Sölden, the highest slopes of Austria, and the ski resort rises to a height of 1350 – 3250 meters and becomes snowy already in the autumn months.

There are several ski slopes on the Tiefenbach and Rettenbach glaciers. These two glaciers are connected to each other. In total, Sölden has over 150 kilometers of slopes for varying degrees of difficulty. The village of Sölden is a popular winter sports resort and offers a wide range of accommodation options. Kaunertal Glacier

The resort of Mayrhofen is also very popular with the younger generation. The resort town of Zell am See is best suited for representatives of the modern generation, who prefer to spend the evening no less actively after active skiing, visiting discos and bars. Not far from this resort is the Karun Glacier, which is famous for its high-speed descents. One of the largest sports centers in the whole country, named Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang, is located a short drive from this resort.

 The winter Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun is a popular destination for many skiers. Due to the altitude and the glacier, it is possible to ski from October to summer. The ski area is located at an altitude of 1978 meters to 3029 meters and has more than 41 kilometers of slopes and 18 lifts. There are plenty of places to stay in Kaprun and nearby Zell am See.

In the small village of Ischgl you can find an upscale ski area. The ski track here is located between 1.4 meters and 3 km in relation to sea level. This ski area is considered to be the best in Europe.

Hintertux Glacier
This Austrian ski area is open 365 days a year. In November, there are already many snowy places in the valley, and several slopes open for skiers and snowboarders. The ski area of the Hintertux Glacier is located in the Zillertal in the Austrian Tyrol. The slopes of the Hintertux Glacier rise to a height of 1500 to 3250 meters. Ski routes stretch here on eighty kilometers of slopes for all levels of difficulty.

The Stubai Glacier
is located in the Stubai Valley. The ski area has more than sixty kilometers of different slopes. The ski resort claims guaranteed snow from October until the end of May. There are many other activities on the Stubai Glacier, such as ice cave visits and excursions. The ski area is easily accessible and is a 45-minute drive from the city of Innsbruck. This makes it attractive for air travel.
